30.5cm/12" Satin brass down rod extension for use with Westinghouse fans with dual mount or down rod systems.
The efficient operation of a ceiling fan depends on proper installation taking into consideration the size and height of the room. The optimum airflow and cooling is achieved when the blades of the ceiling fan are located approx. 2,5m to 3m above the floor. Therefore, use a longer down rod to replace the supplied down rod if the ceiling is higher than 3 m.
