An Infra red sensor switch for 12v or 24v LED lighting often used for controlling lighting inside kitchen cabinets, which can be surface-mounted or flush fitted into a recessed hole.
The sensor detects anything (such as your hand) passing within 100mm of it, and acts as an on/off switch. When the sensor is activated, the lighting is turned on then a second activation will turn the lights off.
