The Kosnic Dim to Warm lamps are perfect for home and hospitality settings where a warmer colour light is desired as the output dims. As the lamp output reduces the CCT changes from 2700K to 2000K to create a very warm atmosphere. The lamps are a direct retrofit for standard GLS filament lamps and deliver the same aesthetics and ambient light as halogen, while allowing the customer to significantly reduce energy costs. Perfect for hospitality settings such as restaurants, bars and hotels where ambience is an essential factor.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Kosnic have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light bulbs and / or the incompatible dimmer module. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
