This classic tubular lamp has been used in a wide variety of applications ranging from wardrobe lighting, picture lights, and mirrors. These decorative tube lamps can also be used in a more contemporary setting such as a funky pendant light fitting with or without a shade. The extra-long filament runs the whole length of the bulb to give a soft, even illumination. The new and improved LED filament is supported internally by a sturdy glass rod to ensure continuous even illumination and maximise the life of the bulb.
Light is emitted from LED filaments uniformly and evenly in all directions, instead of focusing it in a specific area in the way that many LED light bulbs do. These energy saving lamps provide a retro look at the fraction of the energy cost of an old style incandescent light bulb. This energy saver is perfect for use in decorative fittings and decorative pendant sets widely used in bars, hotels, karaoke, restaurants, pubs, etc.
T30-T38 lamps are also called Colorenta lamps, single ended tubular lights, test tube bulbs, or tubular lamps. These retro style lamps are often used in old style vintage art deco fixtures or in modern fittings in bars and restaurants. Pair with a simple pendant set and hang in clusters at varying heights for a funky effect.
As LED products produced using new technologies are used with old dimmer technology, achieving effective and smooth dimming can be challenging. For this dimmable lamp Pro-Lite have tested, and recommend Varilight V-Pro dimmers. Other dimmers designed for use with LED lights may also work, but dimmers designed for halogen lights must not be used as this could damage the light and/or the incompatible dimmer module. Always consult the instructions for your dimmer - if in any doubt use the recommended dimmer from Varilight.
